

Objectives:
-Each student will demonstrate through their four pictures that they can correctly meter any lighting situation they choose to use for each portrait print being submitted.
-Posing their subject appropriately, properly and complimentary for each of the pictures.
-Budgeting their time for the assignment.
-Following all suggestions, recommendations, on what may or may not work per instructor’s comments.
-Shoot a variety of different poses of your subject
-Use a variety of different lighting setup wit your project.
You will need to submit the following prints:
Serious Shot – natural pose, smiling pose or special lighting set-up pose (under, side, halo lighting may be used)
Vignette Shot – Same as the above along with the vignette board
Texture Shot – Same as the serious shot with the application of textures filter
Environment Shot – Photograph an individual in their environment such as a sports person (i.e.: baseball, softball, track and field) or any job with a uniform or an individual doing their favorite activity (i.e.: playing music, biking or whatever)
One print or your choice will need to be dry mounted.
Please also submit a contact print, negatives, exposure log sheet and a full-page write-up of the four submitted prints.
