1. Describe how light bends twice when it encounters a lens.
Light bends first when it encounters a lens at the first point light touches the outermost part of the lens. The angle of the bend depends on how far the lens extends. Depending on the angle of the first bend the second bend will be either obtuse or acute to the first bend. If the first bend is acute the second bend will be obtuse.
2. When does the angle of light entry change?
The angle of light entry changes depending on how far away or how close the object is from the lens.
3. What lens has a long focal lenth?
A Telephoto lens has a very long focal length.
4. What lens has a short focal lenth?
A Wide-Angle lens has a short focal lenght.
5. A higer focal length number indicates a __________ image magnification.
A higher focal length number indicates a greater image magnification.
6. Who came up with the term photography and in what year?
John Herschel came up with the term photography in 1839.
7. Where does the term camera come from and what does its origin mean?
The term camera comes from camera obscura and its origin means "dark room"

1. Describe how light bends twice when it encounters a lens?
The light bends because its is reflected off the lens depending on the angle it shot at.
2. When does the angle of light entry change?
It changes when you move the object closer or farther away from the lens
3. What lens has a long focal lenth?
25mm
4. What lens has a short focal lenth?

7. Where does the term camera come from and what does its origin mean?
Camera obsciura and it means dark room.
Pin Hole Camera, Rachel Nagy 2nd
The pin hole camera has no conventional lens. The hole is very small and the light is focused by confining rays through it. The aperture is 100 times smaller than the distance to the screen. The shutter is a hand operated flap of light material. The film of this camera requires a much longer exposure, anywhere from 5 sec - days.
