Film Camera - Take portraits of your grandparents or of someone of a similar generation. In class I showed you several examples of some good grandparent pictures. I recommend you place your subjects next to a window in order to achieve the effects of a studio softbox. You may want to bounce some light back onto the dark side of their face with a piece of white paper. A great photo is going to show skin texture. Be sure your depth of field is appropriate for the portrait. You can see the examples I have pulled from Flickr.com using my jcbishop1 as the member name.
Digital Camera - If you could take one picture that would summarize your spring break, what would it look like? Take this picture. The nice thing is that you get 24 chances to take this picture.
Enjoy your spring break. I look forward to seeing all of your work. All pictures must be shot by the day we arrive back to school on April 20th.
