Assignment - Yahoo Week in Photos Sept. 7-13
Please review the weeks of Sept. 7 though Sept 13ths Yahoo Week in Photos. Again, I ask that you tell me what your favorite photo is from each week. Tell me why you find the photo intriguing by using examples from the elements of art. Please respond to this posting and include your name and class period.

I found the Storm Clouds very intrigueing because i love the shape of sky and the different shades of clouds.
Nikki Reinert, period 2, my favorite picture from the week of septmeber 7 to the 13th is the 5th picture called classroom scene. I love how the camera is only focused on the little boys face and the backround and his shirt is blurry. I think it is a really cool picture and pretty much discribes the erfext classroom picture.

week september 7-13 "keeping an eye out"
this was my favorite photo because i like the was the photographer made the shoe look like it was floating or that the snake was holding it up. i also like the way he did a back round of black on a red shoe i think it makes the shoe stand out more

my favorite photo was "Keeping an eye out". I liked it because the black background begins out the brightness of the red sandal, and the texture of the snake's scales. The perspective is also really interesting because it appears as though the sandal is floating in midair.

Rubber Duck Race
This is my favorite picture from this week because the way the photographer shot the picture looks as if the ducks are unequal in size. The texture of the ducks is consistent in the entire photo.

My favorite picture in this week is the wone called Remembering Mother Theresa. This one is of lady standing near a statue of Mother Theresa and laying her hand on Mother Theresa. I enjoy this picture because you can feel the emotion in the image by the color and i also enjoy it because you can see the reflection of the statue and the lady on the marble wall.

The picture I thought was interesting from this week was called A New Year. This picture was of a Jewish woman praying for the Jewish New Year. This picture had very cool lighting and colors making the picture almost seem surreal.

week august 27-sept 6 "raindrops
this is my favorite photograph because i like the way the photographer zoomed in on the petals and the raindrops on the petals.i also like the color of the flower i think it stands out.

My favorite picture in the week of Aug 31 to Sep 6, is the last picture number 12 called catch a wave, i really like this pictures beauty and i think the random placment of surfers is really drawing to the eye. I love this pictures uniquness but i really just like it because it is so pretty.

My favorite photo of this week is Keeping an eye out. It is a picture of a cobra snake next to a bright red shoe. I enjoy this picture because of the color contrast of black backround to a bright red shoe.

My favorite photograph from the week of September 7-13 is called Celebrating Ramadan. I really like the lines and color elements a lot.
i really liked the duck race pic. the mass of yeelow really caches your eyes. the pic,. would have been cooler if thier was more light on the duck to bring out yhe color more.

My favorite photo from this week is "Backstage at the fashion show".
I love the messgae of the model with the doughnuts. I also love the way the picture was taken directed toward the mirror taking it of the models reflection.

my favrite in this week is rubber duck race because everythig from th educks to the buildings are in focus. this is cool because there is so much to see.
i liked keep[ing an eye out because of how the photographer took te photo at just the rite moment / and how the "sliper" seeps to be suspended above the serpent so that the jewl snake and the real snake are staring eachother down.

This picture has a lot of lines. It really is a lot of bright lines. The more interesting thing though, is that our sparklers were never nearly as fun as that one seems like it would have been.

I think the the beach picture with the surfers is a really touching and fasinating photo.
the picture that i like the most is called storm clouds why i like this one is it is a very basic picture and but still looks cool
Birds of a Feather is one of the photos i chose, its really cool how the photographer captures the birds and the glider as one flying v. Its has a nice DOF so that everythin is in focus. Phil Shea 4th period.
the other picture that i like is called catch a wave. why i like this pic is because he used a very fast shutter speed and catched them all at the same time and i ;like that

Sept. 7 though Sept 13th- my favortie photo is "classroom scene" because i like the angle of the picture and how they focused on the face and the arm is out of focus.

for the week of september 7-13 i chose rubber duck race this was because of the color mainly it caught my eye and i loved it. to get that many ducks in a pnd/lake is amazing and them just sitting there is an amazing picture.

i chosethe picture of the rubber duck race because i love ducks. don't worry there are some other reasons too. first the photographer had to of used a pretty small aperture to get all the ducks. second the lightening is really good. its not like too bright or too dark. its just right

I like the photo entitled Backstage at the Fashion show because I find it funny that there is a box of doughnuts next to a super model. The reason why this is funny to me is because super models attract the stereotype that they don't eat anything and that is the reason for their thiness, but this picture implies that this super model is not following that stereotype and is a junk food hog.

Aug.31st- Sept. 6th: Catch a wave- I like this picture a lot, It accuratly show depth and space. The photographer was playful with the color,you could see bits of color on peoples wet suits.
Sept.7th-13th: Keeping an eye out- I like the contrast in this picture, the hard black background makes the color of the shoe really pop! The snake also has an interesting shape that adds a lot of interest to the photograph.
THIS IS THE CORRECT ONE. Phil Shea 4th period. Honor patches is a cool patriotic photo because it has great focus on all the patches so you can read them clearly.

My favorite picture in the yahoo week of photos Sept.7-13th is the picture called In the Hands of Man. I really find this picture to be my favorite because the statue that the man is holding really captures the viewers eye and the contrast between the staute and the backround is really cool.

in the week sept 7-13 my favorite photo was the Rubber Duck Race because the picture has the ducks floating on water but you can't tell the water id there because there are so many ducks. the ducks tke up the space of the picte. the ducks add color to the picture and create a line between the dock and the water the ducks are floating on.

Rubber Duck Race - this picture is eye catching because of its use of line form and texture . the ducks are in form and you can view them from way behind the front ducks. you see lines and texture in the ducks as well.

i chose classroom scene because i feel that the contrast between the highly focused child and the blurred backround accomplished by using a very high appature, really brings a lazy mood to the picture, and it really speaks to me about school.

i chose the photo " a new year" because the texture was very interesting to me because of the texture on rainbow colored veil over the mans head, its translucnt and silky and very estethicly pleasing

I like the fourth photo titled "In the Hands of Man". The photographer uses color by having the statues around the edges of the photo and the man a very drab brownish gray while the statue in the center is very brightly colored.

i liked the new year photograph because of how the colors blnded to gether so well wile stilll being distinct also i liked that the texture detail of ther cloth the woman was wearing you can almost see te "grain" of the fabrick
