Required Reading

Please read the Darkroom Tips and Tricks section in the right hand column of this blog. I will give anyone extra credit who comes up with a new tip that gets posted. Please have this read by Monday Oct. 22nd.

When rewinding film go in the dark room with all lights of including black lights to make sure film was rewound fully into the film cartridge soo film is not exposed by light and ruined.

another tip,: remember to turn off the light on the enlarger before you take out your papaer

i dont know if this posted or not, but let your eyes adjust to the darkness beofre you start doing anything.

make sure you announce when your going to turn the lights on in the dark room, that way no ones picture gets exposed to the light to soon.

when making a contact sheet be sure to make the light area bigger than the paper size because it is easier to lign up the paper and not miss.

when deveoping paper put the paper picture side down wgen agitationg. this prevents the paper from sticking to bootom. very helpful

While in the darkroom never leave your negative and/or prints in the darkroom because they might be stolen.
